Survivor Support Hub
Our support aims to bring hope, to minimise their vulnerability to be re-exploited, to empower clients to make their own well-informed decisions and to rebuild their lives.
The Survivor Support Hub (SSH) provides support to adult survivors of modern slavery and exploitation living in Oxfordshire. We provide person centred support, which is flexible to the needs of the individual.
Volunteer With Us
Emotional and
Social Support
Clients will be paired with an emotional and social support volunteer who can provide emotional support, friendship, and help with finding and developing local community.
Practical Support
Clients will be paired with a practical support volunteer who can provide support with activities such as attending appointments, completing forms and applying for work. Volunteers can also help with developing conversational English.
Advocacy Support
Advocacy support is provided by trained specialist staff. Any support that requires a professional with specialist knowledge of services available to survivors of modern slavery in Oxfordshire, or to make professional referrals, will need this stream of the service.
Providing Support
We provide support for 3-12 months and review ongoing needs for support regularly. When clients stop working with us, we can provide ongoing assistance when needed.
